Why I take the first-round interview

Most owners I talk to aren't bad at hiring. They're just busy.

They can't sit on Zoom at 10 hoping someone shows, then do it again at 2.

Somebody has to take that first round. That's the part I wanted to take.

I like this work for a boring reason.

Owners should be running the business. Not chasing people who were never going to show.

If we take the first round and you get your week back, that's a good day.
